Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes
  • cup onions chopped
  • cup bacon bits
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 ½ cups Zoup! Portabella Mushroom Bisque
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x9 baking dish and set aside.
  • Peel the potatoes and slice them ⅛ inch thick. Put the sliced potatoes in a medium-size bowl filled with cold water. Set aside.
  • In a medium pan, heat the butter and saute the bacon bits and chopped onions until the onions are translucent.
  • Add the flour and stir until well coated. Add the milk and Zoup! Portabella Mushroom Bisque and stir until flour is mixed in and smooth. Add the spices and mix until well incorporated.
  • Take off heat and stir in the sour cream. Set aside.
