Lemon Chicken & White Bean Soup

Lemon Chicken & White Bean Soup

Try this delicious, lemony soup made with beans and chicken bone broth.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of Cannellini beans
  • 4 cups of Zoup! Good Really Good® Chicken Bone Broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 carrots finely chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 3 tsp finely chopped rosemary
  • 1 handful of chopped chard or greens of your choice
  • 1 cup cooked chicken
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Combine 1 can of the Cannellini beans and 1 cup of Zoup! Good, Really Good® Chicken Bone Broth in a blender until smooth. Set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Saute the chopped onion and carrot until tender. Add the garlic, salt and pepper. Then add the remaining can of Cannellini beans, chickpeas and rosemary. Stir to combine.
  • Add the blended bean and broth mixture, 3 cups of Zoup! Good, Really Good® Chicken Bone Broth and chopped chard. Bring to a boil and then reduce to low heat and cook for 25 minutes.
  • Then add the lemon zest, lemon juice and cooked chicken. Slowly sprinkle in the parmesan cheese while stirring. Cook until cheese is melted and well combined.
  • Serve in a bowl and garnish with more parmesan cheese, lemon, and rosemary. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 tomatoes diced
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 3 15- oz cans of black beans or 1 ½ cup dried black beans that have been cooked
  • 2 ½ cup Zoup! Good Really Good® Chicken Broth
  • 1 Avocado
  • ¼ cup cotija cheese
  • 2 limes
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro

Instructions

  • n a large soup pot, add the olive oil and heat over medium. Saute your onions, tomatoes, and garlic.
  • Once the onion is translucent, add the garlic, cumin, chili powder, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Then add the beans and Zoup! Good, Really Good® Chicken Broth. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Serve hot and garnish with avocado, cotija cheese, lime and cilantro.

Seafood Shrimp Pho

Our newest broths are perfect for cooking up your own twist on a classic Pho. Try this one using our Seafood Broth.

Ingredients

  • ¾ inch section of ginger peeled and sliced
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • Bunch of cilantro
  • 1 ½ tsp coriander seeds
  • 1 whole clove
  • 4 cups of Zoup! Good Really Good® Seafood Broth
  • ½ lb shrimp
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 5 ounces rice noodles
  • 3 tsp fish sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar

Instructions

  • In a large soup pot, toast the coriander seeds and clove over medium heat for 2 minutes. Chop the green part of the onion and set aside for toppings later. Then cut 1 inch slices of the green onion at the base of the onion. Add the onion and ginger to the pan. Stir until you start to smell the ingredients.
  • Add the Zoup! Good, Really Good® Seafood Broth and bring to a boil. Continue to simmer the broth for another 15 minutes. Strain the broth and return to pot. Then add the shrimp and cook until full cooked and shrimp is pink. Then cook your noodles according to the packaging in the broth.
  • Season with fish sauce and sugar as needed.
  • Divide the pho between two bowls and garnish with your favorite toppings like green onion, lime, cilantro, pepper, etc.

Ingredients

  • ¾ inch section of ginger peeled and sliced

  • 1 whole clove
  • 4 cups of Zoup! Good Really Good® Spicy Chicken Bone Broth
  • 1 boneless skinless chicken
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 5 ounces rice noodles
  • 3 tsp fish sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar

Instructions

  • In a large soup pot, toast the coriander seeds and clove over medium heat for 2 minutes. Chop the green part of the onion and set aside for toppings later. Then cut 1 inch slices of the green onion at the base of the onion. Add the onion and ginger to the pan. Stir until you start to smell the ingredients.

Buffalo Chicken Soup

That moment you find a way to turn your favorite tailgate food into a whole meal. Introducing, Buffalo Chicken Soup!

Ingredients

  • 8 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cups chopped carrot
  • 3 cups chopped celery
  • 2 garlic cloves diced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 4 cups cooked chicken chopped
  • 1 cup hot sauce
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 cups of Zoup! Good Really Good® Chicken Broth
  • ½ cup flour
  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • 4 tbsp ranch dressing mix

Instructions

  • Turn your Instant Pot on and press the Saute button. Melt the butter and then saute the onion, celery and carrots until softened.
  • Add the garlic and Italian seasoning. In a small bowl, mix together the flour with the hot sauce and milk. Then add the chicken and hot sauce mixture. Finally, stir in the Zoup! Good, Really Good® Chicken Broth until well combined.
  • Turn the pressure cooker off. Secure the lid. Then turn it back on to the Pressure Cook setting and set the timer for 10 minutes on high pressure.
  • Once the timer is done you can either slow release or quick release. Take the lid off and add the cream cheese to the soup. Stir until the cream cheese is well combined and soup is smooth.
  • Season with salt and pepper or more hot sauce to taste.

Ingredients

  • tbsp olive oil
  • 3 shallots chopped
  • 1 bunch green onions chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger minced
  • 6 cups of Zoup! Good Really Good® Beef Bone Broth
  • 2 whole star anise
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 lb flat rice noodles
  • 1 lb beef sliced thin against the grain
  • Sliced red onion for garnish
  • Fresh cilantro chopped
  • Thai basil for garnish
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Sliced jalapeno for garnish
  • Lime wedges for garnish
  • Hoisin sauce for garnish

Instructions

  • In a medium pot add olive oil and shallots over medium heat. Cook the shallots until slightly translucent while stirring. Add the white parts of a few green onions, garlic, and ginger. Stir until well combined.
  • Add the Zoup! Good, Really Good® Beef Bone Broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Then stir in the star anise, soy sauce, and fish sauce. Simmer and cover. Cook for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the star anise. Then season the broth to taste and bring to a boil.
  • Thinly slice your meat and set aside.
  • Grab your noodles and divide them between bowls. Add the raw meat to the bowls.
  • Add the broth. Make sure it is still very hot as the broth is what is going to cook your meat.
  • Then garnish your pho with your favorite toppings like cilantro, Thai basil, green onions, jalapeno, lime, housin sauce, etc.

Ingredients

  • 6 strips of bacon chopped
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 4 cups of Zoup! Good Really Good® Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 lb gnocchi
  • 2 cups cooked chicken
  • 2 cups spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large soup pot, add the chopped bacon to the pot over medium heat and cook until crispy.
  • Add the onion and garlic. Saute until the onion is translucent (about 5 minutes).
  • Add the Zoup! Good, Really Good® Chicken Broth, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and gnocchi. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and cover the pot. Cook for 15 minutes.
  • Once the soup is thicker, add the cooked chicken and spinach. Soup will be finished once the spinach has wilted. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.

Ingredients

  • tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ cups diced carrot
  • 1 yellow onion chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 2 cups of Zoup! Good Really Good® Veggie Broth
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup of dried lentils
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • 1 medium zucchini diced
  • 2 cups packed kale
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Add olive oil to a large soup pot and saute the carrot, onion and garlic until the onion is translucent.
  • Add Zoup! Good, Really Good® Veggie Broth and tomatoes, stir until well combined. Add lentils and spices. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Add the kale and zucchini. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Stir in lemon juice and water until you’ve reached desired consistency.

Ingredients

  • onion chopped
  • 2 carrots chopped
  • 4 celery stalks chopped
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 ½ cups Zoup! Good Really Good® Chicken Broth
  • ½ can of store bought biscuit dough
  • 2 cups of cooked shredded chicken

Instructions

  • In a large soup pot, add 1 tbsp of butter and melt over medium heat. Add the onions, celery and carrots. Cook veggies until softened and onions are translucent.
  • Add remaining butter and flour. Mix until well combined. Add the salt, pepper and Italian seasoning to veggies.
  • Add milk and bring to a simmer. Cook until slightly thickened. Add the Chicken Broth and cook until it is simmering.
  • Remove about 5 biscuits and slice them into ½ inch strips. Drop them into the soup, cover and cook for approximately 10 minutes or until biscuits are cooked throughout.
  • Once biscuits are cooked, stir in the shredded chicken and serve immediately.

Get your greens! We know the secret to some good collard greens starts with a high-quality broth to cook them in.

Ingredients

  • 8 strips bacon
  • ½ white onion chopped
  • 1 bunch collard greens
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups of Zoup! Good Really Good® Chicken Broth

Instructions

  • Place bacon in a medium pan over medium heat. Cook until bacon is desired crispiness.
  • While bacon is cooking, chop your collard greens into 1-inch strips. Once bacon is cooked, remove and place on a plate with a paper towel.
  • Add onion to the pan and cook on low heat in the bacon fat until onions are soft and translucent. Then add your chopped collard greens to the pan and cook until soft. Season with the garlic powder.
  • Add the Zoup! Good, Really Good® Chicken Broth and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add bacon back to the pan and stir. Serve immediately and garnish with more bacon.

Southern Macaroni & Cheese

This Mac & Cheese recipe is all about preparing the macaroni noodles in our broth to give it a richer, deeper flavor.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1 Jar of Zoup! Good Really Good® Veggie Broth
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 12 oz can of evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 ½ tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup of butter cubed
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • ½ pound Velveeta cubed
  • 8 oz shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 4 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mild cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Then fill a large pot with the jar of Zoup! Good, Really Good® Veggie Broth. Bring to a boil and then cook your macaroni per the instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Add the milk, evaporated milk, eggs, salt, pepper, and sugar and whisk together in the pot until well combined. Then add cubed butter, sour cream, Velveeta, jack and sharp cheddar cheeses to the pot. Mix together on low until well combined. Then add in the macaroni and stir until completely mixed.
  • Once macaroni is well combined, pour into your baking dish. Top with the milk cheddar cheese. Bake for 45 – 50 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve and enjoy!

Broccoli with Candied Pecans & Pomegranate Seeds

Try this easy Broccoli salad topped with pecans and pomegranate using our Veggie Broth to pack in the flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 bunches of broccoli
  • 1 jar of Zoup! Good Really Good® Veggie Broth
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ¼ cup pomegranate seeds

Instructions

  • For the Candied Pecans, preheat 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the pecans on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and maple syrup. Then mix until well combined.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool completely.
  • For the broccoli, place the tops in a large sauce pan and cover with 1 jar of Zoup! Good, Really Good® Veggie Broth. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat. Drain and place broccoli in pan.
  • Heat broccoli and toss with olive oil, garlic, salt, lemon and honey. Once well combined, place in a serving dish. Then toss with the candied pecans and pomegranate seeds.
