Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Three lettuce wraps filled with seasoned ground turkey, sliced red peppers, green onions, and chopped peanuts, served with lime wedges and placed beside a jar of Zoup chicken broth.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Zoup! Chicken Broth
  • ½ tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1 cup onion finely diced
  • 1 cup carrots finely chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms diced
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger minced
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ½ cup green onions sliced
  • 12 Bibb lettuce leaves
  • Lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the cornstarch with the Zoup! Chicken Broth until well combined. Then stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and sriracha and set aside. This will be the sauce we’ll use later for your filling.
  • Prep all our veggies. Then in a large pan, heat 1 tbsp oil over medium heat. Saute the onion, garlic and ginger until onion begins to soften. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned. Add all the remaining vegetables and cook until carrot is softened.
  • Pour the sauce in your medium bowl over the ground turkey and veggies. Cook for a few minutes or until the sauce has slightly thickened.
  • Serve in large pieces of Bibb lettuce. Garnish with lime, crushed peanuts and green onions. Enjoy!
